1. By Bus

Taking a bus is probably the easiest and cheapest way to get to Cameron Highlands. Unfortunately, direct bus to Cameron Highlands from Singapore is hardly available. Nonetheless, taking a bus to KL and exchanging buses in KL to get to Cameron Highlands is easy.

• Step 1: Singapore to Kuala Lumpur Bus

  There are plenty of night buses departing around midnight from Singapore to KL. You can choose from various pick-up points, bus type and departure time that suits you best. Please choose to drop-off at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) as the buses to Cameron Highlands mostly depart from TBS.

  Bus from SG to KL usually takes around 5-6 hours to arrive, including the immigration checkpoint stop. If you take the bus around 12AM, you will arrive around 6AM in KL. You can rest for a bit and get some breakfast at the bus terminal before your 

  Recommendation: Take the bus on Friday night so you can arrive on Saturday morning. Then, you can take an early morning bus to Cameron Highlands. You will arrive at Cameron Highlands around noon.

  Earliest bus from TBS to Cameron Highlands is around 8AM. Top operators for this route include Unititi Express & CS Travel. Both operators are using buses with 2+1 seating arrangement with spacious seats. The ticket price for this journey is just around RM30.

  The journey to Cameron Highlands normal takes around 4-5 hours. If you take the morning bus, you will arrive around 1PM at Terminal Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands.

2. By Train and Bus

If you love train rides, you can mix it up with a train and a bus.

• Step 1: Train to KL Departure: Catch the KTM ETS train from Woodlands Train Checkpoint. Travel Time: It takes about 7 hours to get to KL Sentral.
• Step 2: LRT to TBS Upon arrival at TBS, you can take the LRT to get to TBS.
• Step 3: Bus to Cameron Highlands Departure: From KL, you can get a bus to Cameron Highlands from TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) or Pudu Sentral. Travel Time: This part of the journey takes about 4-5 hours.

3. By Car

• Route: Just take the North-South Expressway (E2) and exit at Tapah or Simpang Pulai.
• Travel Time: Expect around 7-8 hours of driving time, but it can be longer if you hit traffic.
