Overall, I had a good experience with Transtar. The bus was clean, comfortable, and departed on time. The seats were spacious, and the driver was professional and drove safely throughout the journey.
However, I was disappointed that after reaching the immigration checkpoint, we were transferred to a regular bus for the rest of the journey back to Singapore. I had paid for a Transtar Z-CLUB coach seat, so I expected to remain on the same premium coach for the entire trip. This change was not communicated clearly in advance, and it did not match the premium service I had paid for.
I hope Transtar can improve the communication regarding coach transfers or ensure that passengers who pay for Z-CLUB receive the service they expect throughout the whole journey.
Comfortable seating, and smooth ride. Good choice of toilet stops as well.
Pros: Driver drove within speed limit with 2 stops (excluding customs), earphones was offered, tour gulde was very good!
Cons: Meal was bad as compared to the trip to genting. Rice is more than the dishes, while the dishes were miserably little. Seat 10 (immediately after rear door) was too cramp for an adult - can't even stretch out the legs, Seat 1/2 was not serviceable - can't recline and only after we feedback, then was told it was spoilt the previous day. Should have made changes, and not ignore. Good thing was tour guide change for us.
