My vacation passed by so fast, but I really had an amazing time on the beach with beautiful sea view in Tioman Island. Sadly, I still have to go back home by the end of the day. I already booked my ferry and bus tickets from Tioman Island to Singapore from BusOnlineTicket.com.

Departure from Paya Jetty, Tioman Island
I woke up early to have my buffet breakfast in Paya Beach Resort before heading to Paya Jetty to take the ferry to Tanjung Gemok Jetty.
After breakfast, I walked to Paya Jetty from my resort hotel Paya Beach Resort to take the ferry to Tanjung Gemok Jetty.
Pick up from Different Jetties
After picking up the passengers from Paya Jetty, the ferry then headed to other jetties to pick up passengers. Below are the other jetty pick-up points:
- Tekek Jetty
- Air Batang Jetty (known as ABC Jetty)
- Panuba Jetty
- Salang Jetty
Ferry will stop around 10 minutes at each jetty.
Arrival at Tanjung Gemok Jetty
After travelling by sea for 3 hours, the ferry finally arrived at Tanjung Gemok Jetty.
There were different bus agents waiting outside Tanjung Gemok Jetty. Make sure that you find the right bus agent to check-in your bus ticket.
I checked in my bus ticket to Singapore with an agent from Discovery Tours & Travel Pte Ltd in Tanjung Gemok Ferry Terminal.
After check-in, I boarded the bus from Tanjung Gemok to Singapore outside the ferry terminal.
The bus from Tanjung Gemok to Singapore was comfortable with spacious seats, TV and air conditioner.
Immigration Clearance at Johor Bahru Checkpoint and Woodlands Checkpoint
The bus took around 2.5 hours to reach Johor Bahru Checkpoint from Tanjung Gemok. Once I arrived Johor Bahru Checkpoint, I went to the immigration counter for immigration clearance.
After that, the bus proceeded to Woodlands Checkpoint for immigration clearance in Singapore. I went to the immigration counter for immigration clearance in Woodlands Checkpoint. Going further, I had to pass through a luggage scanner checkpoint.
Make sure you do not bring anything illegal or else you might get stuck here and delay your journey.
Note : Passengers are advised to bring all your belongings with you all the time during the immigration clearance process because bus operator will not be responsible for any loss of your luggage or belongings.
The maximum waiting time at the immigration is about 30 minutes, if you miss the bus, you have to make your own arrangement. Therefore, make sure you inform your bus driver before you go for washroom or food.
Arrival in Singapore
After I completed all the immigration process and I took the public bus 170 from Woodlands Checkpoint to Bukit Panjang Downtown Line to take MRT and back to my home.
Please note that passengers can inform the bus driver to drop you off at Woodlands Checkpoint to take public bus service to your next destination. If not, the bus driver will straightaway drop you off at Singapore Flyer from Woodland Checkpoint.
