There are two ways to enter the island, either by cable car or by Sentosa Express – a small train connecting the mainland and the island. This guide only covers on how to go to the island by Sentosa Express.

How To Go To Universal Studio Singapore® from VivoCity? |
Sentosa Express – the small train, is accessible from VivoCity shopping mall. And VivoCity is connected to HarbourFront MRT Station.
Quick Guide From Changi Airport to HarbourFront MRT Station
Once you reached Changi Airport and settled the immigration process, go to Terminal 3 to Changi Airport MRT Station. Airport Shuttle Train to travel from one terminal to another is free. However, please note that to travel by MRT you need a Standard Ticket or Stored Value Smartcard.
Standard ticket can only be used for MRT and LRT rides up to six times for 30 days from the day of purchase. Stored Value Smartcard have an unlimited use until the expiry date. Most common Stored Value Smartcard is Nets FlashPay and EZ-Link Card. EZ-Link card can be purchased at Changi Airport Station.
From Changi Airport, take the East West (Green) Line and exchange your train at Tanah Merah MRT Station. Continue your journey to Outram Park and exchange your train to North East (Purple) Line to go to HarbourFront MRT Station.

HarbourFront MRT Station, VivoCity to Resort World Sentosa via Sentosa Express
From HarbourFront MRT Station, just follow the sign to go to VivoCity (Exit B) and you will find yourself in a shopping mall. Go to Level 3 to access the Sentosa Express to Resort World Sentosa.
Sentosa Express – the train to Resort World Sentosa is a small train with only two coaches. During peak seasons, expect the train to be fully occupied by passengers.
Entrance fee to Resort World Sentosa is the fare for the train ride to enter the island. You can use your EZ Link card for the fare and head to the train platform. Alternatively, you can buy the tickets for the ride at the counter.
Ride the Sentosa Express and you will reach the island within few minutes. In the meanwhile, enjoy the view!

Location of Transtar Counter in Resort World Sentosa
Transtar counter is located at the coach bay in Waterfront Station. The coach bay is in the basement. Once you alight from the Sentosa Express train, head to the right and search for the famous rotating globe of Universal Studios Singapore®.
The escalator to go down to the basement is nearby the rotating globe. You will see a bus and taxi symbol as a sign to direct you to the basement.
Once you reach the basement area, you will see a wide parking space for taxies and buses. Head to your left from the escalator, try to look for the bus parking area. In front of the bus platform, there are few ticket counters and you can easily find Transtar ticket counter there.
We exchanged for our Universal Studios Singapore® tickets at the Transtar ticket counter and had so much fun at the theme park together. Going to Universal Studios Singapore® is absolutely a great choice to spend our holidays. We even promised to go and play again next year!
