AI Chatbot Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the AI-powered chatbot (“Chatbot”) made available by BusOnlineTicket.com (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Chatbot, you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose and Scope of the Chatbot

1.1 The Chatbot is provided solely for the purpose of assisting Users with inquiries relating to BusOnlineTicket.com’s products and services, including but not limited to bus, ferry, and train (KTM/ERL) routes, schedules, and general booking information.

1.2 The Chatbot does not provide support, advice, or information relating to services, platforms, or parties outside BusOnlineTicket.com.

1.3 The Chatbot does not constitute a substitute for reviewing the official information, policies, or terms published on BusOnlineTicket.com.

2. Accuracy and Limitations of Information

2.1 The Chatbot generates automated responses based on pre-existing content and publicly available information on BusOnlineTicket.com.

2.2 While we endeavour to ensure accuracy, all information provided by the Chatbot is for general informational purposes only and may not reflect real-time updates, operational changes, or service disruptions.

2.3 The Company makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Chatbot’s responses.

2.4 Users are responsible for verifying all information on the official website before making any booking or decision.

3. No Liability

3.1 To the maximum extent permitted under Malaysian law, the Company shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, damage, or expense arising from:

  • reliance on the Chatbot’s responses,
  • errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in generated content, or
  • interruptions, delays, or technical issues affecting the Chatbot.

3.2 The Chatbot does not provide professional, legal, immigration, travel, or safety advice. Any information provided shall not be construed as such.

4. No Transactional Capabilities

4.1 The Chatbot does not process bookings, payments, refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling.

4.2 All transactions must be carried out directly through the official BusOnlineTicket.com website in accordance with the site’s Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, and Reschedule Policy.

5. User Obligations

5.1 Users shall not misuse the Chatbot or submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, or harmful.

5.2 Users shall not attempt to obtain system data, extract proprietary information, or engage in any act that may disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Chatbot’s functionality.

6. Data Protection & Privacy (PDPA Compliance)

6.1 The Company is committed to protecting Users’ personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

6.2 The Chatbot may collect and store non-sensitive usage data, conversation logs, and system interactions strictly for:

  • service improvement,
  • security monitoring, and
  • operational optimisation.

6.3 No personal data will be collected unless voluntarily provided by the User for customer support purposes.

6.4 Any personal data provided will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on BusOnlineTicket.com.

6.5 Users acknowledge that automated systems may process submitted data to generate responses.

7. Third-Party Content

7.1 The Chatbot may reference information relating to transport operators, schedules, or service providers listed on BusOnlineTicket.com.

7.2 The Company is not responsible for content, accuracy, or conduct of any external transport operators.

8. Modifications and Termination

8.1 The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Chatbot at any time without prior notice.

8.2 The Company may amend these Terms at its sole discretion. Continued use of the Chatbot constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

9.2 Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Chatbot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
