Taman Negara is the only national park in Peninsular Malaysia. Taman Negara is the home of thousand species of indigeneous flora and fauna. Most visitors go to Taman Negara from KL. The journey starts with 3 hours bus trip from KL to Jerantut, then transfer to a minibus from Jerantut to Kuala Tembeling Jetty, before the final boat boat trip to Taman Negara. Some company do offer direct bus service from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling Jetty.
