Kuala Besut to Kuala Lumpur with Perdana Express

Perhentian Island

Going to Perhentian Island for a break, even a short one on weekend, definitely worth the time and money spent. I had a blast meeting new people, walking on white sandy beaches and floating on the crystal clear blue sea. Scuba diving in Perhentian Island was also an amazing experience! After two days spending awesome time on that famous island, it is finally time to head home back to Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Besut Bus Station

I have planned to take Perdana Express bus from Kuala Besut to Kuala Lumpur. But first, I had to take the ferry from Perhentian Island to Kuala Besut Jetty. After alighting from the ferry at Kuala Besut, I walked to Kuala Besut Bus Station, which is conveniently located around 10 minutes walking distance from the jetty.

Perhentian Island is one of the top tourist spot in Malaysia. Hence, I expected many visitors especially on weekends. Planning on a smooth journey, I have booked the bus ticket in advance from BusOnlineTicket.com to secure my seat. Once I reached the Perdana Express ticket counter, I only need to exchange for the bus ticket that I bought online.

I still had time before the departure time, so I walked around the bus station. I noticed that there are two nearby hotels around the bus station called Samudera Hotel and T’Lodge Hotel. They are so close to the bus station and you can reach there within 1-3 minutes walking distance!

The passengers can use this time for toilet break and get some refreshment at the rest stop. Feeling hungry, I ate Mee Goreng and ordered Teh Tarik for lunch to feed my growling stomach.

Arrival in TBS, Kuala Lumpur

For the rest of the journey, I slept comfortably in my seat, attended by the air conditioning breeze that lulled me to the dreamland. Upon reaching the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) which is the drop off point in Kuala Lumpur, I woke up and prepared to get off the bus.
